Job Description
Recruitment of an expert in IT analysis in the context of trade facilitation for the GIZ-PST Programme Office in Cameroon
I. PROJECT BACKGROUND
The German cooperation through its Technical Cooperation Tool (GIZ) has set up the global project "Partnerships for Sustainable Trade" (PST) in order to put in place measures to facilitate trade. It runs from July 2024 to December 2027. The project focuses on the implementation of the World Trade Organization (WTO) Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) and promotes cooperation between businesses, business and trade associations as well as public institutions.
Funded by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Union (EU), it runs from July 2024 to December 2027. The PST program is implementing a new initiative to optimize air freight clearance procedures in Cameroon.
II. OBJECTIVE
To establish a needs analysis and support the definition of the target digital solution, this public call for tenders continues the recruitment of an individual expert or a firm providing a service provider.
III. PERIODICITY OF THE SERVICE
The service will probably start in october 2026 and should end in February 2027.
